Who we are

Built for finance people, by finance people.

Summatiq is finance software that knows what month-end actually feels like — because the people building it still live it.

Why we exist

The work between systems is where the pain lives.

If every entity in a group ran the same ERP, the same chart of accounts and the same counterparty conventions, intercompany reconciliation would be a formality. Many groups never get there. Different systems, different reference numbers, different currencies — reconciled by hand, in spreadsheets and email, under a month-end clock.

Making every entity match is a route some groups take — but it's a long, expensive one: new system rollouts, localisation, parallel runs, change management, retraining. And even the groups that finish inherit fresh mismatch with the next acquisition. Summatiq takes the other road — it bridges the systems you already have, with no ERP customisation and no integration project. That's the gap it lives in.

We've spent 20+ years running finance operations, month-end closes and budgets across multinational groups — and we still live that calendar. So we automated the part we always dreaded doing by hand, building alongside engineers who sweat the details, and with the humility finance work demands: the numbers stay provable, and a named human stays in charge.

What we believe

Trust first. Intelligence where it earns its place.

AI never does the math

Deterministic code computes every figure. AI classifies, explains and drafts — and stays in the back seat.

We aid — we don't do

Summatiq proposes and drafts; it never decides who's right and never posts to your books. The judgement stays yours.

EU-resident and GDPR-compliant

Your data lives in the EU, GDPR-compliant, isolated per tenant in the database itself — and never used to train anyone's AI.

We bridge — we never paper over

Your systems stay exactly as they are. Summatiq reconciles across them with no ERP customisation and no IT ticket. The mismatch isn't hidden — it's handled.

How we're building it — with a few partners, in the open.

Summatiq is being shaped hands-on with a limited cohort of design partners: real multinational groups whose feedback sets the priorities. That's how software this close to the numbers should be built — on real files, with the people who live the work, not in isolation.
